Senior Data Analyst

We're hiring on behalf of a healthcare content and communications company, currently rehiring for this role. Position: Senior Data Analyst | Location: Andheri, Mumbai | Experience: 5+ years | Full-time Key Responsibilities: - Lead the collection, cleaning, validation, and organization of large and complex datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability - Perform advanced data analysis using Excel, SQL, and BI tools to extract actionable insights that drive business decisions - Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards, automated reports, and KPI tracking systems for senior management and stakeholders - Identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps through in-depth analysis and provide strategic recommendations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions - Develop and optimize automated reporting systems, macros, and data models to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort - Conduct regular data audits and implement best practices to maintain data governance, integrity, and consistency - Lead the development of forecasting models, predictive analysis, and scenario planning tools - Mentor and guide junior data analysts, reviewing their work and ensuring analytical accuracy - Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership teams in a clear, structured, and impactful manner Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros, VBA) - Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets - Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting techniques - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-making - Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Python, R, or other analytical tools is an advantage - Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field. Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
